Congratulations
Diana Lara is from Bogotá, Colombia. She is a foreign registered nurse since 1997 with experience in pediatrics. Diana moved to the United States back in 2001 pursuing her dreams. She became an International Board Lactation Certified (IBCLC) in 2006 and worked as a breastfeeding counselor in the WIC office. She is passionate about supporting moms in their breastfeeding journey.
Diana also worked for the Healthy Start program at Memorial HealthcareSystem, and later became a Registered Nurse home visitor with the Nurse-Family Partnership program. Her charismatic personality and a good sense of humor added to her experience and made her the right fit for the supervising position. She is excited to start in her new role as the program manager to continue delivering the program with fidelity to the model and supporting her team of nurses to provide the best care to the families they reach.
