New Special Enrollment Period opportunity for low-income consumers at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level through November 2022.

The Biden-Harris Administration announced a new Special Enrollment Period (SEP) opportunity for low-income consumers at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), which is approximately $13,000 to $19,000 for an individual and $40,000 for a family of four. BRHPC is helping get the word out about the SEP to Broward residents and assisting those who qualify in signing up for affordable health care coverage.

 

Consumers who think they may qualify for the SEP should call the BRHPC at 1-800-794-2208, which provides assistance in English, Spanish and Creole languages.

Income Eligibility

$12,880 – $51,520 (individual)

$26,500 -$106,000 (family of 4) 

Open Enrollment Assistance Hours

8:00 AM – 8:00 PM    Monday – Friday

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM    Saturdays

12:00 PM – 8:00 PM  Sundays

Lawfully present immigrants with incomes < $12,880 or $26,500 for a family of four and not otherwise eligible for Medicaid are eligible for a Free or Reduced Monthly Premium.
