The Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF), continues to reach Veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. To date over 300 Individuals and Families have been assisted by Broward Regional Health Planning Council. Program assistance includes a specialized housing plan that assist Veterans in achieving Independence and Long Term success.
Broward Regional Health Planning Council received the following letter from a client Who received housing and social supportive services this past quarter.
I am so grateful and appreciative for Broward Regional Health Planning Council. With their effort I was able to acquire housing for me and my family without the stress and worries of security deposit and bedding. Broward Regional Health Planning afforded me the opportunity to maintain self-confidence. I am overly pleased with the staff, especially Natasha Hedrington. She and the staff made every effort in assisting myself and other clients. Not once were you made to feel less of a parent because you are accepting assistant, instead you were uplifted and educated on ways to sustain your income for your home. I for one will be a voice for the Broward Regional Health Planning Council informing veterans that there is help out there for us.
