BRHPC is delighted to acknowledge the work of Nurse Home Supervisor Manoucheka Chery. Throughout her tenure, her team has doubled in size and has maintained a 100 percent nurse retention rate. At the same time, she has organized baby showers and graduation events to make families feel special. Her entire team worked together to nominate her for the Tenacious Caregiver award to recognize her exceptional leadership.
On October 26, 2019, Broward Nurse-Family Partnership held its annual graduation ceremony at Holy Cross Hospital’s Sister Innocent Conference Center. Thirty-six parents and toddlers- including a set of twins celebrated their accomplishments. Nurse-Family Partnership Broward works with first-time mothers and their children to improved prenatal health, improved child health and development, and increased economic sustainability. Nurse-Family Partnership works to reduce the risk of pre-term labor and delivery, reduce infant mortality rate, promote breastfeeding, and improve the rate of prenatal care within the community. We proudly service 191 mothers and 163 infants and we truly look forward to continuing working with these families. The goals for the upcoming New Year are to continue to support low-income first-time parents and to meet performance expectations.
