Broward Complete Streets Guidelines
Provides local governments information on how to design, construct and operate streets to meet the demands of all users, including those who bike, walk, use assistive mobility devices and utilize mass transit, as well as cars. These guidelines were developed using a framework from the “Model Design Manual for Living Streets” for Los Angeles County.
The innovative approach of these guidelines is that it combines the efforts of traditional transportation planners and engineers with those of healthcare planning professionals for a positive impact upon the health of our Broward communities.
